Lanzhou sets up trade ties with 63 countries along Belt and Road

The city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, has established bilateral trade relations with 63 countries along the routes of Belt and Road Initiative, according to Lanzhou Municipal Reform and Development Commission on Sep. 12.

Over the past years, Lanzhou has accelerated the pace of opening up in various ways. The Lanzhou Customs has realized a unified customs clearance covering ten customs houses.

The Gansu Lanzhou International Inland Port has accelerated construction with Lanzhou Railway Container Center Station, Railway Freight Center, and other seven key projects launched.

The Lanzhou Central Asia, Central Europe and South Asia International Freight Trains have realized normalized operation.

The Lanzhou New Area Zhongchuan North Railway Station and Lanzhou Dongchuan Railway Logistics Center have completed construction, which signifies the first railway port in Gansu is established.

Currently, there are 240 import and export enterprises registered in Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Area. The China-Germany, China-South Korea, China-Europe industrial parks are under construction.

In addition, folk art troupes from Lanzhou have attended cultural exchange activities in Russia and Britain and performance groups from over 10 countries and regions have presented performances in Lanzhou in the past few years.
