The city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, will invest 200 billion yuan on infrastructure renovation in the next few years, including roads, bridges, rail transit, and pipes improvement and distinctive town construction, to build Lanzhou into a scenic, livable and energetic city.

The urban transportation, sewage treatment and water drainage systems be enhanced and the clean energies like solar, thermal and geothermic ones will be promoted in a wider extent through the investment.
