The Lanzhou New Area received over 100,000 tourists during the eight-day holiday for the National Day and the Mid-autumn Day, with the tourism revenue totaling 36.2 million yuan, surging by 206 percent and 114 percent respectively year on year, according to Lanzhou New Area Business and Tourism Bureau on October 10.

It is reported that self-driving travel accounts for 80 percent of the tourism in the new area. The Western China Dinosaur Park, Great Wall Film Studio, Water Ropeway Park and other scenic spots presented various festivals and activities so as to attract more tourists during the holiday.
