Lanzhou Innovative Cultural Industrial Park [File Photo]

The Lanzhou Innovative Cultural Industrial Park, built on a dilapidated factory in 2009, has now become a State-level Cultural Industry Demonstration Base featuring industries of animation and film making, industrial design, tourism development and art performances, and sidelines of science innovation, start-up incubation, innovative product development, artwork transaction, arts training and so on.

In 2009, the park comprising of showcasing, animation, performance and communication areas was invested with 20 million yuan on infrastructure construction to attract more cultural enterprises to enter. Focusing on developing cultural innovative industries, the park has enhanced integration of culture, science, tourism and finance and expanded the scale and clustering effect of cultural industries in Gansu Province since then.

Until now, a business model combining fundamental service, value-added services with investment and financing has taken shape and a complete business incubation chain has been set up there. Advantages and resources can be integrated and given into full play through the park as it can offer fundamental services, preferential policies and talent.
