The Western China Medicine Valley is now under construction at the Lanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province.

With a total area of 2.83 square kilometers, the Western China Medicine Valley Industrial Park invested with 2.34 billion yuan is comprised of areas of production and R&D, transaction exhibition, health, medical care, public services and so on. After one year’s construction, a total of 13 standardized workshops have been built up there and are expected to put into operation by the end of this year.

“The valley can offer funds, places, services and technologies for medium, small and micro medicine businesses and help them develop in a rapid way,” said Qiao Jianxin, vice-director of the management committee of the Lanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.
