The Xixi Cultural Tourism Small Town started construction in Lanzhou New Area, Lanzhou City, on November 3.

With a total investment of 749 million yuan, the project occupying an area of 20.67 hectares is expected to complete construction by September of 2019.

Featuring cultural tourism, cares for health and the aged, and the development of distinctive small towns, the project is expected to promote commerce and urban tourism in the new area.

The project will include a health care town and a cultural town, which focus on garden type health care and miniature landscapes in Gansu Province respectively.

It is expected to receive 300,000 tourists in the following year after its completion with the consumption volume reaching 100 million yuan.
