The scientific and technological innovation has made great progress in Lanzhou New Area, Lanzhou City, over the past years.

A total of 506 million yuan has been invested on scientific and technological innovation there since 2015. Some 29 innovative platforms and also production, study and research alliances were established. A total of 14 innovative enterprises were fostered at the Lanbai Scientific and Technological Innovation and Reform Pilot Site in the new area. Some eight scientific and technological enterprise incubators were set up in the new area with 398 start-ups fostered.
