The forest coverage rate in Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, has reached 26.24 percent until now, according to the Forestry Bureau of the district on December 18.
The district has made progress in ecological construction this year and the rate of forest fire occurrence area was controlled with 0.06 per thousand. The district invested 180,000 yuan on economic forest afforestation on a total area of 27 hectares with 15,000 trees planted this year.
