92 foreign-invested enterprises set up in Gansu during past five years

A total of 92 foreign-invested enterprises were set up in Gansu Province during the past five years, with the contract volume and actual use of foreign capital totaling US$ 15.1 billion and US$ 436 million respectively, according to the Commerce Department of Gansu Province on December 19.

Currently, a total of 65 countries and regions have made investment in Gansu Province ranging from traditional industries to modern agriculture, new energy, advanced manufacturing, high-tech and services. There are now 232 foreign-invested enterprises existing in Gansu with the sales revenue and profits totaling 22.4 billion and 650 million yuan respectively.
