The Lanzhou New Area has established its first overseas warehouse in Ulan-Ude, capital city of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, according to the Lanzhou New Area Commerce and Trade Logistics Investment Group Comprehensive Bonded Area Company on May 2.
The warehouse, jointly set up by the company and the Promtehles Co. Ltd, is used to store wood, agricultural products, grain and oil, new-energy vehicles and so on, said Tang Kewei, spokesman for the Lanzhou New Area Commerce and Trade Logistics Investment Group Comprehensive Bonded Area Company. The overseas warehouse can perform functions of sales, distribution, transit, changing, refunding, processing, maintenance, and so on, the spokesman added.
