In the first quarter of this year, the GDP in the city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, totaled 53.38 billion yuan, up by 7.4 percent year on year, according to the Lanzhou Municipal Statistics Bureau on May 2.
During the same period, the added value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries totaled 897 million, 19.45 billion and 33.03 billion yuan, up by 4.8 percent, 4.4 percent and 9.5 percent year on year respectively. The urban and rural per capita disposable income reached 8,684 and 2,921 yuan, up by 8 percent and 9.4 percent year on year respectively.
