The Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway line had transported a total of 11.84 million passengers as of July 9 since it began operation one year ago.
The daily passenger flow during the past year was 32,400, with the highest record at 54,200.
The 401-kilometer-long line links Baoji in northwest China's Shaanxi province and Lanzhou, capital city of its neighboring Gansu province, cutting the travel time between Xi'an, capital city of Shaanxi and Lanzhou from around eight hours to just three.
