Lanzhou to develop cross-border e-commerce pilot area

The city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, will develop the Lanzhou Cross-Border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, according to a working conference held on August 21.

Efforts will be made on policy making, construction of online and offline platforms, and talent instruction to make Lanzhou an prosperous e-commerce development zone in west China, said Liu Yanhui, vice-mayor of Lanzhou during the conference.

The Lanzhou Cross-Border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area was approved to be established by the State Council on July 24, 2018.
