Photo taken on October 9 shows the vegetable production area in Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City. A total of 240,000 peasants are planting vegetables in the county, accounting for 54.3 percent of its total population. The vegetable plantation contributes 35 percent to the per capita income of peasants in the county.
